Have you built a site like mine before?
There is a good chance our team has built a website for a similar company in your same business industry, but we like to think all of our sites have their own unique qualities that separate them from the next.
Can I have a site that looks like this, or that?
You will have total control over the amount of influence you provide during the design and development processes. As long as your request does not violate any copyright or trademark laws, we will be more than happy to design everything to your specification.
I want a site like eBay, Facebook, YouTube, etc. Is it possible?
Yes, we have worked on several smaller scale websites that fit into these categories. Please keep in mind these types of websites generally start around $2,500.00 and increase according to your specification's complexity.
Are you capable of providing Flash designs?
Sure, we have two flash designers on hand to provide any amount of Flash media your website may require. Flash websites are typically more expensive to build and cost slightly more to maintain than their counterparts. This is largely due to the increased amount of time that is put into the animations and the added time put into possible revisions.
What is your typical turn around period?

How can we pay to get started?
We accept Checks, Money Orders, Visa, Master card, American Express, Discover. You may submit your order online through our secure checkout system or you may call to place your order.
Are your web design costs a one time fee?
Yes, you will only pay a one-time fee for the initial development of your website. After that, you will only have to pay for requested maintenance.
Do you provide web hosting and domain name registration?

Do you have your own web servers?
Yes, our servers are located in The Planet data center in Dallas, Texas. Please click here for more information about the data center.
Do I have to host with you?
No, you will not be forced to host your website on our servers. However, we will not release your website to your web server until final payment has cleared.
Can I use my existing website address if I host with you?
Yes, please let your service representative know if you are interested in transferring your domain name to WebCitz. It is only $9.95 per year.
After you have designed our website, can we manage it ourselves?
This is only possible if we install a content management system into your website, which will increase the cost of your package or service option. Please see our CMS website design packages for more information.

Our company is located hundreds of miles from yours, is this a problem?
We have developed successful and attractive solutions for clients across the United States and abroad. Everything you will need to inspect will be uploaded to our test server during the development phase. Our staff is more than capable of effectively communicating with you through toll-free phone calls, faxes, emails, and instant messages. Our instant message address for AIM/MSN/Yahoo is simply "WebCitz," without the comma and the quotes.
Do you offer after hours support?
Our normal business hours are 8am to 8pm during the week and 10am to 4pm on the weekends. If you require assistance outside of those hours you will be advised to leave a message on our toll-free answering machine, which forwards all messages to the on-hand manager's email inbox and mobile phone.
Can you create a logo to go with our web site?

Can you help us get listed in search engines?

Will I be able to request modifications to my site before its launch?
Yes, we will work closely with you to ensure you get exactly what you desire.
Can I call your clients for a testimonial?

How does your web design process work?
Our mission is to build an attractive and cost effective website for your business. A professionally designed website can promote your products and services, enhance your image and generate sales. With that in mind, we will carefully research your business goals and plan a strategy to deliver impressive results.
Initial Consultation
All of our services begin with a free initial consultation to determine the expectations and goals of your website. A project coordinator will work closely with you to determine the requirements of your website and put together a detailed list of services to be performed. This will help us to gather information about your company, products, services, audience, purpose, and more.
Proposal & Contract
After you are confident we have addressed all of your projects requirements we will put together a formal quote that details the work you require and the cost for those services. If you are satisfied with the proposal we will send you a copy of our service agreement to drop off at our office or send through the mail.
Payments
We require a 50% deposit and a signed service agreement before starting work on your project. The payment and service agreement requirements can be satisfied by checking out through our ecommerce system.
If you have any questions or concerns during this process please call or email for clarification. Miscommunication and false expectations do not further the progression of your project in a productive manner. At any time please contact us about any concerns, questions or comments you have about your project.
Collecting Your Contents
You will need to provide us with the content for your website, which includes copywriting and imagery. We will provide you with access to thousands of royalty free stock photos which carry a cost of $3/each. If necessary, we have an English professor available for professional copy writing services at an additional charge.
The Drawing Board
If we are to design the website of your dreams, we would appreciate knowing the color schemes you prefer, a few websites you appreciate, and links to those with whom you compete. After receiving that information, we will typically provide you with a creative mockup within 2 working days. At this point in the development, you and the designer will work to develop a visually and functionally pleasing design.
Design Approval
After the initial mockup is designed you will be able to review it on our servers. We will send you a hyperlink to view the mockup and ask if you would like any changes. You request revisions as necessary and when satisfied you will need to provide final approval.
Content Approval
After receiving your final approval on the design we will begin building the website and web pages, incorporating the design and all of the content that you have provided.
Pre-launch Evaluation
After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. You will submit any desired changes to the copy and then give final approval before the site goes live.
Launching Your Website
After final approval and payment has been received, your website will be published on your domain, and it will be live for all the world to see!
We can also register your domain name and provide web hosting so you don’t have to worry about technical aspects of your website. WebCitz would then become your one and only contact for website assistance.
Ongoing Support
After your website is launched we will be able to provide you with a maintenance schedule to accommodate any changes you decide to make along the way.
