Discovery Land Global operates as a resource hub for thousands of church leaders worldwide. Their primary challenge was the delivery of massive amounts of content – lesson plans, training videos, and administrative tools – in a way that was secure and easy for international members to navigate. They needed a site that looked professional to potential partners while functioning as a robust, gated educational platform for existing members.

Since 2021, WebCitz has acted as the technical partner for DLG, evolving their site into a high-capacity resource center:
- Strategic Website Redesign: We performed a full redesign of the website to better communicate their mission. The new look is vibrant and child-focused while maintaining the professional polish required to build trust with church directors and pastors.
- Custom Member Login & Portal: We developed a specialized login interface that serves as the “dashboard” for their global members. This portal allows churches to:
- Access Quarterly Curriculum: Securely download lesson plans in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Albanian).
- View Training Resources: Access leader training videos and “hand motion” tutorials for worship songs.
- Download Administrative Tools: Get forms, volunteer handbooks, and classroom resources that help a church run a successful children’s ministry.
- Membership Logic & Gated Content: We implemented robust access control logic to ensure that only active member congregations can access the premium curriculum and training materials.
- Global Optimization: Because their partners are located in various regions – including areas with slower internet speeds – we focused on performance optimization to ensure that large downloads and video training assets remain accessible.
- Ongoing Support & Maintenance: We provide monthly maintenance to ensure the site’s security is airtight, especially given the sensitive nature of their membership data and proprietary curriculum.
The Result
The partnership has given Discovery Land Global a digital infrastructure that matches its global footprint. By automating the delivery of their curriculum through the custom WordPress portal, we’ve helped them reduce the manual overhead of supporting international congregations. The redesign has helped them attract more partner churches, further expanding their impact on child discipleship across the globe.
