The Challenge
Managing a brand that operates in two major Southern hubs (Nashville and Charlotte while offering nationwide delivery requires a high-performance digital architecture:
- Dual-Market Dominance: They needed to rank for “Bernedoodle Breeders” in both Tennessee and the Carolinas without the content competing against itself.
- Platform Flexibility: Squarespace’s rigid structure made it difficult to build out the sophisticated, deep content required to show authority in two distinct physical markets plus a nationwide service area.
- Nationwide Perception: The site needed to communicate that while they have physical roots in the South, they are a national-scale operation capable of safe delivery to any major U.S. city.

We engineered a “Hub-and-Spoke” digital strategy to anchor their local presence and fuel their national growth:
- Custom WordPress Redesign (2025): We migrated them away from Squarespace into a bespoke WordPress environment. This gave us the technical freedom to build a site that is much faster, more secure, and significantly more SEO-friendly.
- Multi-Location SEO Architecture: We built out dedicated, high-authority landing pages for their Nashville and Charlotte operations. By tailoring the content to these specific regions, we helped them capture local intent while maintaining a unified brand.
- Nationwide Organic Campaign: We implemented an aggressive SEO strategy focused on nationwide authority. This included deep-dive articles on Bernedoodle generations, health testing, and the benefits of their “Flight Nanny” service, positioning them as national experts.
- Geofocused Google Ads: We leveraged their dual locations to improve ad efficiency. By targeting major airports and cities reachable from both Nashville and Charlotte, we maximized the relevance of their “Flight Nanny” ads to families across the country.
- Conversion-Driven Gallery & Intake: We optimized the way litters and available puppies are displayed, ensuring that prospective owners can easily view health clearances and temperament details regardless of which location the puppy is currently calling home.

By 2026, Happily Ever After Doodles is no longer just a regional breeder; they are a dual-hub national power. Moving to WordPress provided the scalability needed to manage their expansion into Nashville while keeping their Charlotte-area roots strong.
