The Challenge

Selling a specialized, heavy-duty appliance like a Tandoor oven online presents several unique obstacles:

  • Custom Freight Shipping Rules: This was a significant technical lift. We configured advanced shipping logic in Magento to handle LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight quotes, ensuring that shipping costs were accurate based on the customer’s zone and the weight of these heavy units.
  • Social Media Ecosystem: We didn’t just build a site; we helped build the brand. We set up their social media profiles and managed early campaigns to introduce the Homdoor to backyard cooking enthusiasts and professional chefs alike.

The Result

By the end of the launch phase, Homdoor was successfully established as the premier name in residential Tandoor ovens.
