Spectra Print

WebCitz started working with this client in 2019

The Challenge

Operating in the commercial print sector requires a website that handles everything from high-resolution file uploads to complex service descriptions. Spectra Print’s challenges included:

  1. Hosting & Stability Issues: Prior to their migration, the site suffered from hosting-related glitches and bugs that threatened the user experience for their corporate clients.
  2. Platform Obsolescence: Their legacy site structure was becoming difficult to manage and lacked the agility needed for modern digital marketing.
  3. Migration Risks: With years of indexed content, a move to a new platform risked losing organic search rankings and breaking established links used by their long-term clients.

The WebCitz Solution

We provided a phased approach, moving from troubleshooting to a complete architectural overhaul:

  • Technical Troubleshooting & Maintenance (2019–2024): For five years, we provided essential support, debugging deep-seated hosting issues and ensuring the site remained operational. This period was critical for maintaining their digital baseline while planning for a future-proof solution.
  • WordPress Migration (2025): We successfully migrated spectraprint.com into a modern WordPress environment. This move provided their team with a much more intuitive content management experience and a faster, more responsive front-end for their customers.
  • SEO Continuity (301 Redirect Mapping): To protect their decades of brand equity, we meticulously mapped and implemented 301 redirects. This ensured that every legacy URL was pointed to its new WordPress equivalent, preserving their search engine rankings and preventing “404 Not Found” errors for returning users.
  • GA4 Analytics Deployment: Along with the new site launch, we implemented Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This gave Spectra Print advanced tracking capabilities, allowing them to better understand how users interact with their service pages and quote request forms.
  • Managed Hosting & Support: We continue to provide the technical oversight needed to keep the WordPress platform secure and optimized, ensuring their “digital storefront” matches the professional standards of their printing facility.

The Result

By 2025, Spectra Print had successfully transitioned from a high-maintenance legacy site to a modern, scalable WordPress platform. Our long-term technical stewardship ensured that they never lost their digital footing during the transition. Today, their site is faster, easier to manage, and equipped with the data-tracking tools necessary to drive their business forward in a competitive commercial landscape.
