The Challenge
Yoga Elements is known for its inclusive atmosphere and highly specialized offerings, such as their state-of-the-art Iyengar Rope Wall (the only one in the area). They needed a website that could:
- Educate Newcomers: Clearly explain their diverse class types, including Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, Alignment, and specialty sessions like Prenatal and “Yoga for Healthy Bones.”
- Facilitate Commitment: Provide an easy, low-friction way for students to view the schedule and book sessions online.
- Reflect the Community: Capture the warm, welcoming, and therapeutic focus of the studio.
The WebCitz Solution
We built a responsive WordPress platform that serves as a seamless extension of the studio’s physical space:
- Custom WordPress Architecture: We designed the site to be content-rich yet easy to navigate. Each specialty – from the therapeutic benefits of the Rope Wall to the specifics of pregnancy yoga – is given dedicated space to educate prospective students.
- Integrated Class Signup: We integrated a functional booking and registration system (syncing with their schedule) that allows participants to register and pay for sessions directly online. This system handles everything from single drop-ins to 20-class packs and monthly unlimited memberships.
- Mobile-Optimized UX: Recognizing that many yogis check the schedule or book a class while on the go, we ensured the mobile experience is flawless, with “Schedule” and “Sign Up” buttons always within reach.
- Local SEO Content: By building out detailed pages for their specific formats (like “Hot Yoga Menasha” or “Prenatal Yoga Fox Valley”), we helped ensure that when neighbors search for local wellness options, Yoga Elements is at the top of the list.
- Ongoing Neighborhood Support: Since we are just down the road, we’ve been able to provide responsive maintenance and support as their class schedule and specialty workshops have evolved over the years.
The Result
Yoga Elements has maintained a strong, consistent digital presence that has grown alongside the studio. The automated class registration system has reduced administrative time for the instructors, allowing them to focus on teaching. The site remains a vibrant hub for the Menasha yoga community, successfully transitioning new visitors from “curious” to “booked” with just a few clicks.
