Eden Heights of West Seneca

WebCitz started working with this client in 2010

The Challenge

Senior living facilities are dynamic environments. Amenities, monthly calendars, and residency brochures change frequently. In 2010, Eden Heights utilized a custom HTML/CSS website, which meant that even minor updates – like adding new photos of the scenic courtyards or updating the “Services” list – required direct code manipulation. They needed a partner who could handle these requests quickly and accurately to ensure that prospective residents and their families always had the latest information.

The WebCitz Solution

We acted as the “Digital Concierge” for both the on-site team and the corporate parent:

  • Multilevel Coordination: We successfully bridged the gap between the parent holding company (Premier Senior Living) and the on-site building managers. This ensured that corporate branding standards were met while local, building-specific updates – like new staff photos or amenity changes – were prioritized.
  • Direct HTML/CSS Revisions: Because the site wasn’t on a modern CMS at the time, we manually managed the code. We performed precise updates to:
    • Digital Brochures: Ensuring that printable resources for families were always the current version.
    • Visual Content: Integrating high-quality photos of the facility to showcase the “cozy, home-like atmosphere.”
    • Amenity Lists: Keeping the descriptions of services like restaurant-style dining and social programs accurate and enticing.
  • Responsive Maintenance: We established a workflow where the client could simply send over new materials, and we would handle the technical implementation. This removed the “technical barrier” for the facility staff, allowing them to focus on resident care.
  • Data Integrity & Consistency: By centralizing the update process through WebCitz, Eden Heights ensured that their online presence remained consistent with their physical reputation for being an active, well-maintained community.

The Result

Our year-long partnership in 2011 provided Eden Heights with a polished, professional digital storefront during a critical period of regional competition. By taking over the technical maintenance of their custom-built site, WebCitz ensured that the community’s digital “first impression” was as warm and reliable as the facility itself. While the facility continues to thrive under the Premier Senior Living umbrella today, our early work helped establish the digital standard they needed to attract and reassure families in the West Seneca area.
