The escape room industry is hyper-competitive and relies on “perishable inventory” – if a room isn’t booked for a 7:00 PM slot, ? revenue is lost forever. Their challenges included:

  1. Booking Friction: Integrating a seamless, real-time booking engine that could handle multiple locations and different room types (Escape vs. Rage).
  2. High-Intent Advertising: Managing a profitable Google Ads spend in a market where “escape room” keywords have high local competition.
  3. Local Visibility: Ensuring that their physical locations appeared at the top of the “Map Pack” for local searches.
  4. Repeat Business: Turning one-time players into repeat customers through consistent branding and promotions.

The WebCitz Solution

We implemented a “Full-Funnel” strategy that captures local interest and converts it into paid bookings:

  • WordPress & Booking Integration: We manage the technical health of their WordPress site, specifically focusing on the integration of their online booking platform. We ensured that the checkout process for escape rooms and rage rooms is mobile-responsive and lightning-fast.
  • Google Ads & High-Conversion Landing Pages: We manage their Google Ads campaigns, targeting high-intent local keywords. To maximize the ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), we designed custom landing pages specifically for these ads. These pages are stripped of distractions and focused entirely on the thrill of the rooms and the “Book Now” action.
  • Coupon & Promotion Management: To drive mid-week bookings and special event sales, we helped create and manage digital coupons and promotional codes integrated directly into their booking engine.
  • Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimization: We performed an intensive optimization of their Google Maps profiles for both the Arlington and Fort Worth locations. This included keyword optimization, photo management, and review strategy, helping them dominate local “near me” searches.
  • Email Marketing Automation: We helped build out their email marketing strategy, allowing them to stay in touch with their database of previous players to announce new rooms, seasonal discounts, and corporate team-building packages.
  • Proactive Maintenance: We provide ongoing support to ensure the site remains secure and updated, which is critical when handling real-time customer data and financial transactions.
